I first read the Bible when I was seven or eight years old. I felt it was nice. Nothing much more than nice poetry. But I believed God was real and that we were made by a loving Creator.
I didn’t find Him by name when I was 18. I found a love that had no conditions and was pure and not defiled or sexual. (I had been molested, so impure attraction had been my norm.) I found Someone who just liked and loved me for who I was, no rules or exceptions.
I wanted to give my life to Him. So I did.
Wisdom is beyond smarts or logic or programs. Wisdom is from God and guides us when we just don’t know the correct path. Did you ever read the story of King Soloman and the story of ‘cutting a baby in half’ to find the true mother? That is God’s wisdom. 1 Kings 3:16-28
In my personal pursuit to health, I have needed God’s wisdom and courage to not give up. My personal health journey has been taking a long time to figure out, (two plus decades …) and patience has earned her reward. The journey is ongoing, and my perspective has changed. I am seeking Gods’ wisdom in what I eat, what I do and how much I spend for my health. Am I worth the cost? Yes, and so are you. No extra money to spend? God may provide another way. Don’t give up!
